The Operational Group brings together frontline managers and workers from the four sectors (homelessness, criminal justice, mental health and substance misuse) in order to help develop the work across the Newcastle and Gateshead to better serve people facing multiple needs and exclusions. They do this by:
- Sharing experience of developing multiple needs work
- Ensure that the needs of service users are listened to at an operational level and are central to the delivery of the programme.
- Discussing solutions to issues that arise
- Highlighting good practice in Newcastle and Gateshead
